This Week's Produce

The fall weather has us scurrying around trying to prep for our winter gardens as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are transplanting, planting, weeding, raking, covering, composting, and harvesting fall squash, all at once! We can't wait to share some of the tasty results with you!!

As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides — and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally! 

This week’s produce includes:

  • Tomatoes  (Heirloom Varieties and Cherry Tomatoes)

  • Green and Red Sweet Peppers, Hot Peppers (and many specialty, fresh varieties)  

  • Eggplant (Beatrice, White, and others)

  • Kale

  • Fresh Herbs  (including parsley, sage, oregano, mint, fennel flowers, etc.)

  • Fresh Mushrooms (including Forest Nameko, Velvet Pioppini, Trumpet Royal, Shiitake, etc.)

  • Beets (yellow, striped, and red varieties)  

  • Watermelon  

  • Potatoes (Fingerling, Blue, Yukon Gold and Kennebec, & Red Nolan)

  • Pumpkins (Jarrahdale Pumpkins & Pie Pumpkins)

  • Sweet Potatoes  

  • Squash (Acorn, Butternut, Mini Butternut, Fairytale, Honey Boat, Honey Nut, Delicata, Hubbard, Red Kuri, Spaghetti Squash)

We'll have a fresh delivery from Joe's Bread for sale this weekend:

  • Sourdough Batard (wheat)

  • Sourdough Michbrot (half wheat/half rye)

  • Hamburger Buns (wheat/not sourdough)

  • Fermented Garlic Hummus

Pre-ordering

Remember that if you pre-order at least 1 day in advance, we can have your order ready for you, whether you pick up in store or choose to wait in your car and have us pop it straight into your trunk.
