Ham Steaks & Produce Update
Smoked ham steaks are one of our favorite cuts — they have all the delicious flavor of a big ham, but in a much smaller size! They're 1-2.5 pounds each, so they're super convenient for a weeknight meal. All of our pork is pasture-raised and free of synthetic nitrates!
Ham steaks are easy to cook:
- Cover and bake at 325° with a little water in the base of the pan (1/4-1/2c) for 10-15 minutes (depending on the size of the steak).
- Then uncover and bake 5 more minutes with a drizzle of maple syrup. (To reach internal temp of 145°.)
There are also lots of easy recipes out there for grilling or pan-cooking ham steaks!
🍁We also stock delicious local maple syrup from Flagel's Sugar House, plus organic mustard, BBQ sauce, and other items that pair beautifully with ham.
