Fresh chicken is back!

Fresh pasture-raised whole chickens have returned! We are so excited to restock incredibly nutrient-dense and tasty birds after the winter’s lull. So fresh and moist, these chickens are great simply roasted whole with herbs. Plus, the bones are perfect for making bone broth. Visit our website for delicious whole chicken recipes and stop by the farm store before Saturday; we don’t expect these to stay in stock long!

This week’s harvest includes a variety of fresh herbs, leafy greens, and our growing list for the summer – enjoy our local bounty while it lasts!

  • Asparagus!! Plenty of it but it won't last long!!

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Bok Choy!! First batch of the season!!

  • Garlic — limited supply

  • Herbs — limited supply of fresh chamomile, chives, mint, oregano, sage, thyme and dried oregano, mint, lavender, sage as well as other dried options; pre-order to confirm varieties & availability!

  • Kale

  • Lettuce (head & mixed, many varieties)

  • Mixed Greens (kale, Swiss chard, mustard greens, and other surprises)

  • Mixed Mustard Greens

  • Potatoes (yellows/whites) — special pricing $1.99/lb. while supplies last!

  • Radish!! First batch of the season!!

  • Rhubarb!! First of the season, plenty of it but it won't last long!!

  • Spinach – very limited supply

  • Sunchokes (Jerusalem artichokes)

  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Swiss Chard

  • Wasabi Arugula

  • Watercress

And more. Like any local market, we never know what else we might end up with until we harvest. So, it helps to come to the farm store and explore or request further details when pre-ordering!

  • A2 protein/grass-fed cow's milk, butter, buttermilk, cheese (cottage and a variety of others), French dip, Kefir (plain), sour cream, yogurt (Greek), & whipping cream

This week’s options (while supplies last) include:

  • Prime Steaks are back: Filets, NY Strips, T-Bones, Ribeye & Sirloin

  • Beef Savory Steaks: Cubed, Round (Eye, Top, and Bottom), Swiss, PLUS Flat Iron, Mock Tenderloin, Skirt, and more!

  • Beef Roasts: Chuck, Chuck Arm, Rump (or Rolled Rump), Sirloin Tip, Swiss Steak Roast, and Top & Bottom Round Roasts.

  • Beef Grill Options: Ground (including ground beef, chuck, and sirloin), Patties (3 & 4/pkg), Stew Meat, Soup Bones, Shank Bones, Tallow and more! We're also carrying The Brooklyn Hot Dog Company dogs: Classic Beef, Beef & Pork, and Pepperoni (Pork & Beef)! Chef Tony takes great pride in his work as he seeks the best possible ingredients both in the quality of the meat and in the spices that go into his dogs!

  • Pork: Re-stocked Sweet Italian & Hot Italian, Ethiopian Berbere, Fresh Kielbasa, Merquez, Mild Breakfast, and Oaxacan Adobo Sausage this week! All from our pannage raised pork and organically sourced spice blends (featuring the Teeny Tiny Spice Co). Pork Chops (thick and thin), roasts, and more! Other cuts: Neck Bones, Soup Bones, Organ Meats, Back Fat (Great for making your own lard or using just like it is to grease your skillet!). We have our Bacon, Ham, and Ham Hocks back in limited supply, if you haven't come by yet this spring for a taste, please do before supplies run out! We're also carrying a variety of smoked bacon sausage options from Big Fork (from Berkshire Hogs raised on pasture): Maple & Brown Sugar Bacon, Hickory & Applewood Bacon, Aged Cheddar Bacon, Bacon & Ale, and Chicken & Bacon Sausage.   • Lamb: Chops (loin and rib) & Roasts (Arm, Leg of Lamb, and Shoulder or Shoulder "Blade"). Also available: Meaty Shanks, Ground, Soup Bones, and Organ Meats!

  • Chicken (fresh & frozen): Yes, fresh options are back this week, first of season!! Cut-ups (boneless/skinless as well as bone-in & skin on breast, leg quarters, and wings), Ground Chicken, Soup Bones (necks and backs) and Organ Meats (heart, liver & gizzards). 

  • Turkey (frozen): Breasts, Drumsticks, Ground Turkey, Soup Bones (including backs and feet), Wings, and Organ Meats. 

  • Duck (frozen): Whole, delicious, and full of great flavor!

  • Salmon: Kvarøy Arctic Rope Hung, Smoked Salmon and Salmon Filets sustainably raised in Norway where they are doing what they can to protect our seas and share their long traditions with the rest of us.
